About us

Eco Clean Active Initiative is a youth led, registered non-governmental organization founded in 2019 to address environmental issues, promote the welfare of the environment and to achieve a sustainable development across the globe. Our objectives are to create awareness on the protection and preservation of the environment, to combat climate change, to educate citizens on the importance of waste recycling within their community, to promote peaceful co-existence in the environment, to liaise with organizations, individuals, NGOs, INGOs, schools, government and agencies in educating the community on environment, climate change and waste management sustainability, amongst others.

We are an operational NGO, meaning we plan and carry out boots-on-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. This requires a great deal of careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project. Our organizational programs are aligned with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on Goal 13 (Climate Action), Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and Goal 3 (Good health and well-being).

Our organization has successfully contributed to the protection and preservation of the environment by constantly creating awareness campaign, building capacity, engaging communities and leaders, and implementing strategic project in schools, communities, markets, etc. through partnership with ministry of environment, NGOs, Agencies amongst others.

Our Mission

ECA envisions a clean, healthy, habitable and sustainable environment aimed at creating environmental consciousness, substantially reducing poverty, peaceful co-existence and infrastructural development for a sustainable economy and society.

To protect and preserve the environment for habitation through environmental awareness campaign, community mobilization and engagement, capacity building, advocacy and strategic project implementation which will serve as a valuable asset for people and a sustainable development.
